"IndicationAndUsage": "Symptomatic Trichomoniasis. Metronidazole tablets are indicated for the treatment of T. vaginalis infection in females and males when the presence of the trichomonad has been confirmed by appropriate laboratory procedures (wet smears and/or cultures). Asymptomatic Trichomoniasis. Metronidazole tablets are indicated in the treatment of asymptomatic T. vaginalis infection in females when the organism is associated with endocervicitis, cervicitis, or cervical erosion. Since there is evidence that presence of the trichomonad can interfere with accurate assessment of abnormal cytological smears, additional smears should be performed after eradication of the parasite. Treatment of Asymptomatic Sexual Partners. T. vaginalis infection is a venereal disease. Therefore, asymptomatic sexual partners of treated patients should be treated simultaneously if the organism has been found to be present, in order to prevent reinfection of the partner. The decision as to whether to treat an asymptomatic male partner who has a negative culture or one for whom no culture has been attempted is an individual one. In making this decision, it should be noted that there is evidence that a woman may become reinfected if her sexual partner is not treated. Also, since there can be considerable difficulty in isolating the organism from the asymptomatic male carrier, negative smears and cultures cannot be relied upon in this regard. In any event, the sexual partner should be treated with metronidazole tablets in cases of reinfection. Amebiasis. Metronidazole tablets are indicated in the treatment of acute intestinal amebiasis (amebic dysentery) and amebic liver abscess. In amebic liver abscess, metronidazole tablet therapy does not obviate the need for aspiration or drainage of pus. Anaerobic Bacterial Infections. Metronidazole tablets are indicated in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria. Indicated surgical procedures should be performed in conjunction with metronidazole tablet therapy. In a mixed aerobic and anaerobic infection, antimicrobials appropriate for the treatment of the aerobic infection should be used in addition to metronidazole tablets. INTRA-ABDOMINAL INFECTIONS, including peritonitis, intra-abdominal abscess, and liver abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group ( B. fragilis, B. distasonis, B. ovatus, B. thetaiotaomicron, B. vulgatus), Clostridium species, Eubacterium species, Peptococcus species, and Peptostreptococcus species. SKIN AND SKIN STRUCTURE INFECTIONS caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group, Clostridium species, Peptococcus species, Peptostreptococcus species, and Fusobacterium species. GYNECOLOGIC INFECTIONS, including endometritis, endomyometritis, tubo-ovarian abscess, and postsurgical vaginal cuff infection, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group, Clostridium species, Peptococcus species, Peptostreptococcus species, and Fusobacterium species. BACTERIAL SEPTICEMIA caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group and Clostridium species. BONE AND JOINT INFECTIONS, (as adjunctive therapy), caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group. CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (CNS) INFECTIONS, including meningitis and brain abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group. LOWER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS, including pneumonia, empyema, and lung abscess, caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group. ENDOCARDITIS caused by Bacteroides species including the B. fragilis group. To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of metronidazole tablets and other antibacterial drugs, metronidazole tablets should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.",

"Description": "Propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen tablets USP contain propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen. Propoxyphene napsylate is an odorless, white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is very slightly soluble in water, soluble in methanol, in ethanol, in chloroform, and in acetone. Chemically it is (αS,1R)-α-[2-(dimethylamino)-1-methylethyl]-α-phenylphenethyl propionate compound with 2-naphthalenesulfonic acid (1:1) monohydrate and can be represented by the following structural formula. C22H29NO2C10H8O3SH2O M.W. 565.74. Propoxyphene napsylate differs from propoxyphene hydrochloride in that it allows more stable liquid dosage forms and tablet formulations. Because of differences in molecular weight, a dose of 100 mg (176.8 μmol) of propoxyphene napsylate is required to supply an amount of propoxyphene equivalent to that present in 65 mg (172.9 μmol) of propoxyphene hydrochloride. Acetaminophen, 4'-hydroxyacetanilide, is a non-opiate, non-salicylate analgesic and antipyretic which occurs as a white, odorless, crystalline powder, possessing a slightly bitter taste. Chemically, it is acetamide, N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)- and can structurally be represented by the following. C8H9NO2 M.W. 151.16. Each pink tablet of propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen tablets contains 100 mg propoxyphene napsylate and 650 mg acetaminophen. "Description": "Mycophenolate mofetil is an antimetabolite immunosuppressant. It is the 2-morpholinoethyl ester of mycophenolic acid (MPA), an immunosuppressive agent; inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) inhibitor. The chemical name for mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is 2-morpholinoethyl (E)-6-(1,3-dihydro-4-hydroxy-6-methoxy-7-methyl-3-oxo-5-isobenzofuranyl)-4-methyl-4-hexenoate. It has a molecular formula of C23H31NO7, a molecular weight of 433.50, and the following structural formula. MMF is a white to off-white crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water (43 μg/mL at pH 7.4); the solubility increases in acidic medium (4.27 mg/mL at pH 3.6). It is freely soluble in acetone, soluble in methanol, and sparingly soluble in ethanol. The apparent partition coefficient in 1 -octanol/water (pH 7.4) buffer solution is 238. The pKa values for MMF are 5.6 for the morpholino group and 8.5 for the phenolic group. MMF hydrochloride has a solubility of 65.8 mg/mL in 5% Dextrose Injection USP (D5W). The pH of the reconstituted solution is 2.4 to 4.1. Mycophenolate mofetil for injection is the hydrochloride salt of MMF. The chemical name for the hydrochloride salt of MMF is 2-morpholinoethyl (E)-6-(1,3-dihydro-4-hydroxy-6-methoxy-7-methyl-3-oxo-5-isobenzofuranyl)-4-methyl-4-hexenoate hydrochloride. It has a molecular formula of C23H31NO7 HC1 and a molecular weight of 469.96. Mycophenolate mofetil for injection is available as a sterile white to off-white lyophilized powder in single-dose vials containing MMF hydrochloride for administration by intravenous infusion only. Each vial of mycophenolate mofetil for injection contains mycophenolate mofetil hydrochloride equivalent to 500 mg of mycophenolate mofetil. The inactive ingredients are polysorbate 80, 25 mg, and citric acid, 5 mg. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may have been used in the manufacture of mycophenolate mofetil to adjust the pH. Reconstitution and dilution with 5% Dextrose Injection USP yields a clear colorless to slightly yellow color solution of MMF, 6 mg/mL [see Dosage and Administration (2.6)]."

"IndicationAndUsage": "ADZYNMA is indicated for prophylactic or on demand enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) in adult and pediatric patients with congenital thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (cTTP) [see Use in Specific Populations (8.4), Clinical Studies (14)].",
"Description": "ADZYNMA is a purified bivariant human recombinant “A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 13” (rADAMTS13) expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells using recombinant DNA technology (a mixture of Native rADAMTS13 Q23 and Variant rADAMTS13 R23 with a controlled range of the two variants ratio). ADZYNMA is produced and formulated without the addition of any exogenous raw materials of human or animal origin in the cell culture, purification, or formulation of the final product. The purification process for rADAMTS13 does not include use of a monoclonal antibody reagent. To enhance viral safety, the production process also incorporates two dedicated viral clearance steps – a solvent/detergent treatment step for inactivation and a 20 nm filtration step for removal of viruses. Recombinant ADAMTS13 has a molecular weight of approximately 172 kDa. Proteins that may be present in the final product, other than rADAMTS13, are trace quantities of host cell (CHO) proteins. ADZYNMA (rADAMTS13) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic, preservative free, white powder supplied in single-dose vials for IV use after reconstitution. Each single-dose vial contains nominally 500 IU or 1500 IU of rADAMTS13, sodium chloride (9.4 mg), calcium chloride dihydrate (1.6 mg), L-histidine (16.7 mg), mannitol (161.4 mg), sucrose (53.8 mg), and polysorbate 80 (2.7 mg). Each vial of ADZYNMA is labeled with the specific number of units of ADAMTS13 potency expressed in IU as measured with a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) assay using a synthetic 73-amino-acid peptide (FRETS-VWF73). The potency assignment employs an ADAMTS13 concentrate standard that is referenced to a WHO (World Health Organization) international standard for ADAMTS13 concentrates and is evaluated by appropriate methodology to ensure accuracy of the results. After reconstitution with 5 mL of Sterile Water for Injection, USP, the 500 IU and the 1500 IU vials result in a nominal potency of 100 IU/mL and 300 IU/mL, respectively. All dosage strengths yield a clear, colorless solution, free from particles with a pH of approximately 7.0."

<IndicationAndUsage>Symptomatic Trichomoniasis. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy.</IndicationAndUsage>

<Description>Propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen tablets USP contain propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen. Propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen tablets, USP 100 mg/650 mg (PINK) contain the following inactive ingredients. colloidal silicon dioxide,D and C red No 27 aluminum lake, D and C yellow No 10 aluminum lake, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, titanium dioxide, and crospovidone.</Description>

<IndicationAndUsage>Phentermine hydrochloride capsules are indicated as a short-term (a few weeks) adjunct in a regimen of weight reduction based on exercise, behavioral modification and caloric restriction in the management of exogenous obesity for patients with an initial body mass index ≥ 30 kg/m 2, or ≥ 27 kg/m 2 in the presence of other risk factors (e.g., controlled hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia). Below is a chart of body mass index (BMI) based on various heights and weights. BMI is calculated by taking the patient's weight, in kilograms (kg), divided by the patient's height, in meters (m), squared. Metric conversions are as follows: pounds ÷ 2.2 = kg; inches × 0.0254 = meters. The limited usefulness of agents of this class, including phentermine, [see Clinical Pharmacology (12.1, 12.2)] should be measured against possible risk factors inherent in their use such as those described below.</IndicationAndUsage>

<IndicationAndUsage>Propoxyphene napsylate and acetaminophen tablets, USP are indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain.</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Propoxyphene Napsylate, USP is an odorless, white crystalline powder with a bitter taste. It is very slightly soluble in water and soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, and acetone. Chemically, it is (αS,1R)-α-[2-(Dimethylamino)-1-methylethyl]-α-phenylphenethyl propionate compound with 2-napthalenesulfonic acid (1:1) monohydrate, which can be represented by the accompanying structural formula. The molecular formula for acetaminophen is C8H9NO2 and the molecular weight is 151.16. It may be represented by the following structural formula. Propoxyphene Napsylate and Acetaminophen Tablets, USP 50 mg/325 mgEach tablet contains: Propoxyphene Napsylate ............................50 mg (88.4 μmol) Acetaminophen .........................................325 mg (2150 μmol) In addition each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: carnauba wax, D&C Yellow #10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red #40 Aluminum Lake, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, sodium starch glycolate and titanium dioxide.
<IndicationAndUsage>ADZYNMA is indicated for prophylactic or on demand enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) in adult and pediatric patients with congenital thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (cTTP) [see Use in Specific Populations (8.4), Clinical Studies (14)].</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>ADZYNMA is a purified bivariant human recombinant “A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 13” (rADAMTS13) expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells using recombinant DNA technology (a mixture of Native rADAMTS13 Q23 and Variant rADAMTS13 R23 with a controlled range of the two variants ratio). All dosage strengths yield a clear, colorless solution, free from particles with a pH of approximately 7.0.</Description>
