"IndicationAndUsage": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) [see Clinical Studies (14)]. Tamsulosin hydrochloride capsules, USP are not indicated for the treatment of hypertension.",
"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride is 444.98. Its structural formula is:. Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, methacrylic acid copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, polyacrylate dispersion, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate and talc. The capsule shell consists of FD&C Blue # 2, gelatin, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow and titanium dioxide. The capsule is printed with black pharmaceutical ink which is made of iron oxide black, propylene glycol and shellac. USP dissolution test 7 used."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Lamotrigine extended-release tablets are indicated for: : 1 adjunctive therapy for primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in patients aged 13 years and older. (1.1), 2 conversion to monotherapy in patients aged 13 years and older with partial-onset seizures who are receiving treatment with a single antiepileptic drug. (1.2) .",
"Description": "Lamotrigine, USP, an AED of the phenyltriazine class, is chemically unrelated to existing AEDs. Lamotrigine's chemical name is 3,5-diamino-6-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)- as-triazine, its molecular formula is C 9H 7N 5Cl 2, and its molecular weight is 256.09. Lamotrigine USP, is a white to pale cream-colored powder and has a pK a of 5.7. Lamotrigine USP, is very slightly soluble in water (0.17 mg/mL at 25°C) and slightly soluble in 0.1 M HCl (4.1 mg/mL at 25°C). The structural formula is:. Lamotrigine extended-release tablets USP, are supplied for oral administration as 25 mg (yellow), 50 mg (green), 100 mg (beige), 200 mg (blue), 250 mg (purple) and 300 mg (gray) tablets. Each tablet contains the labeled amount of lamotrigine, USP and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, polyvinyl alcohol, talc, titanium dioxide and triethyl citrate. The 25 mg tablets also contain D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6. The 50 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2 and iron oxide yellow. The 100 mg tablets also contain iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. The 200 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2. The 250 mg tablets also contain FD&C Blue No. 2 and FD&C Red No. 40. The 300 mg tablets also contain black iron oxide. Lamotrigine extended-release tablets, USP contain a modified-release eroding formulation as the core. The core tablets are coated with an enteric coat and have pore forming ingredient in the coat to enable a controlled release of the drug in the acidic environment of the stomach. The combinations of the modified-release core and the enteric coat are designed to control the dissolution rate of lamotrigine over a period of approximately 12 to 15 hours, leading to a gradual increase in serum lamotrigine levels. "IndicationAndUsage": "Tetracycline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated organisms in the conditions listed below: 1 Upper respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Streptococcuspneumoniae and Hemophilusinfluenzae. Note: Tetracycline should not be used for streptococcal disease unless the organism has been demonstrated to be susceptible., 2 Lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Streptococcuspneumoniae, Mycoplasmapneumoniae (Eaton agent, and Klebsiellasp.), 3 Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcuspyogenes, Staphylococcusaureaus. (Tetracyclines are not the drugs of choice in the treatment of any type of staphylococcal infections.), 4 Infections caused by rickettsia including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus group infections, Q fever, rickettsialpox., 5 Psittacosis of ornithosis caused by Chlamydiapsittaci., 6 Infections caused by Chlamydiatrachomatis such as uncomplicated urethral, endocervical, or rectal infections, inclusion conjunctivitis, trachoma and lymphogranuloma venereum., 7 Granuloma inquinale caused by Calymmatobacteriumgranulomatis., 8 Relapsing fever caused by Borrelia sp., 9 Bartonellosis caused by Bartonellabacilli-formis., 10 Chancroid caused by Hemophilus ducreyi., 11 Tularemia caused by Francisella tularensis., 12 Plaque caused by Yersiniapestis., 13 Cholera caused by Vibriocholerae., 14 Brucellosis caused by Brucella species (tetracycline may be used in conjunction with an aminoglycoside)., 15 Infections due to Campylobacterfetus., 16 As adjunctive therapy in intestinal amebiasis caused by Entamoebahistolytica., 17 Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, etc., 18 Other infections caused by susceptible gram-negative organisms such as E. coli, Enterobacteraerogenes, Shigella sp., Acinetobacter sp., Klebsiella sp., and Bacteroides sp., 19 In severe acne, adjunctive therapy with tetracycline may be useful. .",
"Description": "Tetracycline is a yellow, odorless, crystalline powder. Tetracycline is stable in air but exposure to strong sunlight causes it to darken. Its potency is affected in solutions of pH below 2 and is rapidly destroyed by alkali hydroxide solutions. Tetracycline is very slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in dilute acid and in alkali hydroxide solutions, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in chloroform and in ether. Each capsule, for oral administration, contains tetracycline hydrochloride 250 mg or 500 mg. Inactive Ingredients: Lactose, magnesium stearate, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The 250 mg capsule shell contains D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Yellow No. 6, gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. It may also contain benzyl alcohol, butylparaben, D&C Red No. 22, edentate calcium disodium, methylparaben, propylparaben, silicon dioxide, and sodium propionate. The imprinting ink for the 250 mg capsule contains pharmaceutical glaze, and synthetic black iron oxide. Oxycodone hydrochloride dissolves in water (1 g in 6 to 7 mL) and is considered slightly soluble in alcohol (octanol water partition coefficient is 0.7). Chemically, oxycodone hydrochloride is 4, 5α-epoxy-14-hydroxy-3-methoxy-17-methylmorphinan-6-one hydrochloride and has the following structural formula. [Oxycodone Chemical Structure]. Each tablet for oral administration contains 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg or 30 mg, of oxycodone hydrochloride USP. In addition, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and partially pregelatinized starch. The 10 mg tablet also contains D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake. "IndicationAndUsage": "Rocuronium Bromide Injection is indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate both rapid sequence and routine tracheal intubation, and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.",
"Description": "Rocuronium bromide is a nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent with a rapid to intermediate onset depending on dose and intermediate duration. Rocuronium bromide is chemically designated as 1-[17β-(acetyloxy)-3α-hydroxy-2β-(4-morpholinyl)-5α-androstan-16β-yl]-1-(2-propenyl) pyrrolidinium bromide. The structural formula is:. Rocuronium bromide USP is an almost white to pale yellow, hygroscopic powder. Rocuronium bromide is soluble in water and dichloromethane, slightly soluble in ethanol and methanol. The chemical formula is C32H53BrN2O4 with a molecular weight of 609.70. The partition coefficient of rocuronium bromide in n-octanol/water is 0.5 at 20°C. Rocuronium Bromide Injection is supplied as a sterile, nonpyrogenic, isotonic solution that is clear, colorless to yellow/orange, for intravenous use only. Each mL contains 10 mg rocuronium bromide (equivalent to 8.69 mg of rocuronium) and inactive ingredients 17.1 mcL hydrochloric acid, 8 mg sodium chloride. The solution pH is adjusted to 2.8 to 3.2 with hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide."

"Description": "Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is an antagonist of alpha1A adrenoceptors in the prostate. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is (-)-(R)-5-[2-[[2-(o-Ethoxyphenoxy) ethyl]amino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide, monohydrochloride. Tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is a white crystalline powder that melts with decomposition at approximately 230°C. It is sparingly soluble in water and methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid and ethanol, and practically insoluble in ether. The molecular formula of tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is C20H28N2O5S HCl. The molecular weight of tamsulosin hydrochloride USP is 444.98. Its structural formula is: Each tamsulosin hydrochloride capsule, USP for oral administration contains tamsulosin hydrochloride USP 0.4 mg, and the following inactive ingredients: polysorbate 80, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, triacetin, sodium lauryl sulfate, microcrystalline cellulose and calcium stearate. The capsule shells have the following inactive ingredients: FD & C Blue 2, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, titanium dioxide and gelatin. The black ink has the following inactive ingredients: shellac, propylene glycol, black iron oxide E172 and potassium hydroxide. USP dissolution test pending."
