<IndicationAndUsage>Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream (a eutectic mixture of lidocaine 2.5% and prilocaine 2.5%) is indicated as a topical anesthetic for use on. normal intact skinfor local analgesia. genital mucous membranesfor superficial minor surgery and as pretreatment for infiltration anesthesia. Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream is not recommended in any clinical situation when penetration or migration beyond the tympanic membrane into the middle ear is possible because of the ototoxic effects observed in animal studies (see WARNINGS).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>DESCRIPTION. Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream USP, 2.5%/2.5% is an emulsion in which the oil phase is a eutectic mixture of lidocaine and prilocaine in a ratio of 1:1 by weight. This eutectic mixture has a melting point below room temperature and therefore both local anesthetics exist as a liquid oil rather than as crystals. It is packaged in 1 and 5 gram Unit Dose tubes. Lidocaine is chemically designated as acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl), has an octanol: water partition ratio of 43 at pH 7.4, and has the following structure. C 14H 22N 2O M.W. 234.3. Prilocaine is chemically designated as propanamide, N-(2-methylphenyl)-2-(propylamino), has an octanol: water partition ratio of 25 at pH 7.4, and has the following structure. C 13H 20N 2O M.W. 220.3. Each gram of Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream, USP 2.5%/2.5% contains lidocaine 25 mg, prilocaine 25 mg, PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil (as emulsifier), carbomer homopolymer Type B (as a thickening agent), sodium hydroxide to adjust to a pH approximating 9, and purified water to 1 gram. Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream, USP 2.5%/2.5% contains no preservative, however it passes the USP antimicrobial effectiveness test due to the pH. The specific gravity of Lidocaine and Prilocaine Cream is 1.00.</Description>

<Description>Capmatinib is a kinase inhibitor. The chemical name is 2-Fluoro-N-methyl-4-[7-(quinolin-6-ylmethyl)imidazo[1,2-b][1,2,4]triazin-2-yl]benzamide—hydrogen chloride—water (1/2/1). The molecular formula for capmatinib dihydrochloride monohydrate is C23H21Cl2FN6O2. The relative molecular mass is 503.36 g/mol for the dihydrochloride monohydrate salt and 412.43 g/mol for the free base. The chemical structure for capmatinib dihydrochloride monohydrate is shown below. Capmatinib dihydrochloride monohydrate is a yellow powder with a pKa1 of 0.9 (calculated) and pKa2 of 4.5 (experimentally). Capmatinib dihydrochloride monohydrate is slightly soluble in acidic aqueous solutions at pH 1 and 2 and of further decreasing solubility towards neutral condition. The log of the distribution coefficient (n-octanol/acetate buffer pH 4.0) is 1.2. TABRECTA is supplied for oral use as ovaloid, curved film-coated tablets with beveled edges, unscored containing 150 mg (pale orange brown color) or 200 mg (yellow color) capmatinib (equivalent to 183.00 mg or 244.00 mg respectively of capmatinib dihydrochloride monohydrate).
