Its molecular formula is C16H14F2N3NaO4S x 1.5 H2O, with a molecular weight of 432.4. The structural formula is:. Pantoprazole sodium, USP sesquihydrate is a white to off-white powder. Pantoprazole has weakly basic and acidic properties. Pantoprazole sodium, USP sesquihydrate is freely soluble in water and in dehydrated alcohol, very soluble in methanol, practically insoluble in hexane and dichloromethane. The stability of the compound in aqueous solution is pH-dependent. The rate of degradation increases with decreasing pH. At ambient temperature, the degradation half-life is approximately 2.8 hours at pH 5 and approximately 220 hours at pH 7.8. Pantoprazole sodium, USP is supplied as a delayed-release tablet, available in two strengths (20 mg and 40 mg). Each pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablet, USP contains 45.1 mg or 22.56 mg of pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate (equivalent to 40 mg or 20 mg pantoprazole, respectively) with the following inactive ingredients: calcium stearate, crospovidone, ferric oxide black, ferric oxide yellow, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, mannitol, methacrylic acid copolymer, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium carbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, and triethyl citrate. Pantoprazole sodium delayed-release tablets, USP (40 mg and 20 mg) complies with USP dissolution test 3."

Benefits are most clearly evident in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) below normal. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets contain a complex comprised of anionic forms of sacubitril and valsartan, sodium cations, and water molecules in the molar ratio of 1:1:3:3, respectively. Following oral administration, the complex dissociates into sacubitril (which is further metabolized to LBQ657) and valsartan. "IndicationAndUsage": "Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are a combination of sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and are indicated: 1 to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adult patients with chronic heart failure. Benefits are most clearly evident in patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) below normal. (1.1), 2 for the treatment of symptomatic heart failure with systemic left ventricular systolic dysfunction in pediatric patients aged one year and older. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets reduces NT-proBNP and is expected to improve cardiovascular outcomes. (1.2).",
"Description": "Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are combination of a neprilysin inhibitor and an angiotensin II receptor blocker. The complex is chemically described as Octadecasodiumhexakis(4-{[(1S,3R)-1-([1,1´-biphenyl]-4-ylmethyl)-4-ethoxy-3-methyl-4-oxobutyl]amino}-4-oxobutanoate)hexakis(N-pentanoyl-N-{[2´-(1H-tetrazol-1-id-5-yl)[1,1´-biphenyl]-4-yl]methyl}-L-valinate)—water (1/15). Its empirical formula (trihydrate) is C48H55N6Na3O8.3H2O. Its molecular mass is 967 and its schematic structural formula is:. Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are available as film-coated tablets for oral administration, containing 24 mg of sacubitril and 26 mg of valsartan; 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan; and 97 mg of sacubitril and 103 mg of valsartan. The tablet inactive ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, crospovidone, magnesium stearate (vegetable origin), talc, and colloidal silicon dioxide. The film-coat inactive ingredients are hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), polyethylene glycol, talc, and iron oxide red (E 172). The film-coat for the 24 mg of sacubitril and 26 mg of valsartan tablet and the 97 mg of sacubitril and 103 mg of valsartan tablet also contains iron oxide black (E 172). The film-coat for the 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan tablet contains iron oxide yellow (E 172)."

<IndicationAndUsage>Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are a combination of sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor, and valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker, and are indicated: 1 to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adult patients with chronic heart failure. (1.2).</IndicationAndUsage>
<Description>Sacubitril and valsartan tablets are combination of a neprilysin inhibitor and an angiotensin II receptor blocker. The film-coat for the 49 mg of sacubitril and 51 mg of valsartan tablet contains iron oxide yellow (E 172).</Description>
