"IndicationAndUsage": "Allergenic extracts are indicated for use in diagnostic testing and as part of a treatment regime for allergic disease, as established by allergy history and skin test reactivity. Allergenic extracts are indicated for the treatment of allergen specific allergic disease for use as hyposensitization or immunotherapy when avoidance of specific allergens can not be attained. The use of allergenic extracts for therapeutic purpose has been established by well-controlled clinical studies. Allergenic extracts may be used as adjunctive therapy along with pharmacotherapy which includes antihistamines, corticosteroids, and cromoglycate, and avoidance measures. Allergenic extracts for therapeutic use should be given using only the allergen selection to which the patient is allergic, has a history of exposure and are likely to be exposed to again.",

Aqueous extracts are prepared using cocas fluid containing NaCl 0.5%, NaHCO3 0.0275%, WFI, preservative 0.4% Phenol. Glycerinated allergenic extracts are prepared with cocas fluid and glycerin to produce a 50% (v/v) allergenic extract. Allergenic Extracts are supplied as concentrations designated as protein nitrogen units (PNU) or weight/volume (w/v) ratio. Standardized extracts are designated in Bioequivalent Allergy Units (BAU) or Allergy Units (AU). (See product insert for standardized extracts). For diagnostic purposes, allergenic extracts are to be administered by prick-puncture or intradermal routes. Allergenic extracts are administered subcutaneously for immunotherapy injections."

"Description": "Polymyxin B sulfate and trimethoprim ophthalmic solution, USP is a sterile antimicrobial solution for topical ophthalmic use. It has pH of 4.0 to 5.5 and osmolality of 270 to 310 mOsm/kg. Chemical Names:Trimethoprim sulfate, 2,4-diamino-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl) pyrimidine sulfate, is a white, odorless, crystalline powder with a molecular weight of 678.72 and the following structural formula. C28H38N8O10S Mol. Wt. 678.72. Polymyxin B sulfate is the sulfate salt of polymyxin B1 and B2 which are produced by the growth of Bacillus polymyxa (Prazmowski) Migula (Fam. Bacillaceae). It has a potency of not less than 6,000 polymyxin B units per mg, calculated on an anhydrous basis. The structural formula is. Each mL contains: Actives: polymyxin B sulfate equal to 10,000 polymyxin B units, trimethoprim sulfate (equivalent to trimethoprim 1 mg); Inactives: purified water, sodium chloride. Sulfuric acid and, if necessary, sodium hydroxide may be added to adjust pH (4.0 – 5.5). Preservative: benzalkonium chloride 0.004%."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Metaxalone tablets are indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomforts associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of this drug has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Metaxalone does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.",
"Description": "Metaxalone tablets, USP are available as an 800 mg oval, scored pink tablet. Chemically, metaxalone is 5-[(3,5-dimethylphenoxy) methyl]-2-oxazolidinone. The empirical formula is C12H15NO3, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 221.25. The structural formula is. Metaxalone is a white crystalline powder, soluble in chloroform, acetonitrile and methanol, but insoluble in water. Each tablet contains 800 mg metaxalone and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, FD&C Red # 40, sodium alginate and magnesium stearate. USP Dissolution Test Pending."

"Description": "Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets, USP contain the antihyperglycemic agent metformin, which is a biguanide, in the form of monohydrochloride. The chemical name of metformin hydrochloride is N,N-dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride. The structural formula is as shown below. Metformin hydrochloride is a white crystalline compound with a molecular formula of C 4H 11N 5 HCl and a molecular weight of 165.63. Metformin hydrochloride is freely soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, practically insoluble in acetone and in methylene hydrochloride. The pK a of metformin is 12.4. The p H of a 1% aqueous solution of metformin hydrochloride is 6.68. Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets contain 500 mg, 850 mg, or 1000 mg of metformin hydrochloride, which is equivalent to 389.93 mg, 662.88 mg, 779.86 mg metformin base, respectively. Each tablet contains the inactive ingredients pregelatinized starch (maize), povidone, crospovidone, magnesium stearate. "Description": "Amitriptyline Hydrochloride, USP a dibenzocycloheptadiene derivative, is a white or practically white, odorless or partially odorless, crystalline powder or small crystals which is Freely soluble in water, in alcohol, in chloroform and in methanol, insoluble in ether. It is designated chemically as 10,11-Dihydro-N,N-dimethyl-5H-dibenzo[a,d] cycloheptene-Δ5,γ-propylamine hydrochloride. It has the following structural formula. Each tablet for oral administration contains 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, or 150 mg amitriptyline hydrochloride USP. Inactive ingredients include colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, isopropyl alcohol, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch.
