"Description": "Carvedilol is a nonselective β-adrenergic blocking agent with α1-blocking activity. It is (±)-1-(Carbazol-4-yloxy)-3-[[2-(o-methoxyphenoxy)ethyl]amino]-2-propanol. Carvedilol is a racemic mixture with the following structure. Carvedilol tablets, USP are white, oval, film-coated containing 3.125 mg, 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg, or 25 mg of carvedilol. Inactive ingredients consist of colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 400, polysorbate 80, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and titanium dioxide. Carvedilol is a white to off-white powder with a molecular weight of 406.5 and a molecular formula of C24H26N2O4. It is freely soluble in dimethylsulfoxide; soluble in methylene chloride and methanol; sparingly soluble in 95% ethanol and isopropanol; slightly soluble in ethyl ether; and practically insoluble in water, gastric fluid (simulated, TS, pH 1.1), and intestinal fluid (simulated, TS without pancreatin, pH 7.5). The Dissolution test to be performed according to USP Test 2."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Nystatin oral suspension is indicated for the treatment of candidiasis in the oral cavity.",
"Description": "Nystatin is an antimycotic polyene antibiotic obtained from Streptomyces noursei. Structural formula:. C 47H 75NO 17 MW 926.13. Nystatin Oral Suspension USP, for oral administration, contains 100,000 USP Nystatin Units per mL. Inactive ingredients: alcohol (≤ 1% v/v), artificial peppermint flavor, cherry flavor, citric acid, D&C Yellow No. 10, FD&C Red No. 40, glycerin, magnesium aluminum silicate, methylparaben, potassium phosphate dibasic, propylene glycol, propylparaben, purified water and sucrose."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Azithromycin is a macrolide antibacterial drug indicated for mild to moderate infections caused by designated, susceptible bacteria: : 1 Acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis in adults (1.1), 2 Acute bacterial sinusitis in adults (1.1), 3 Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections in adults (1.1), 4 Urethritis and cervicitis in adults (1.1), 5 Genital ulcer disease in men (1.1), 6 Acute otitis media in pediatric patients (6 months of age and older) (1.2), 7 Community-acquired pneumonia in adults and pediatric patients (6 months of age and older) (1.1, 1.2), 8 Pharyngitis/tonsillitis in adults and pediatric patients (2 years of age and older) (1.1, 1.2).",
"Description": "Azithromycin tablets, USP contain the active ingredient azithromycin, a macrolide antibacterial drug, for oral administration. Azithromycin has the chemical name (2R,3S,4R,5R,8R,10R,11R,12S,13S,14R)-13-[(2,6-dideoxy-3-C-methyl-3-O-methyl-α-L-ribo-hexopyranosyl)oxy]-2-ethyl-3,4,10-trihydroxy-3,5,6,8,10,12,14-heptamethyl-11-[[3,4,6-trideoxy-3-(dimethylamino)-β-D-xylo-hexopyranosyl]oxy]-1-oxa-6-azacyclopentadecan-15-one. Azithromycin is derived from erythromycin; however, it differs chemically from erythromycin in that a methyl-substituted nitrogen atom is incorporated into the lactone ring. Its molecular formula is C38H72N2O12, and its molecular weight is 749. Azithromycin has the following structural formula. Anhydrous azithromycin USP is a white amorphous powder with a molecular formula of C38H72N2O12 and a molecular weight of 749. Azithromycin tablet, USP is supplied for oral administration as white, film-coated, oval shaped biconvex tablets containing anhydrous azithromycin 250 mg or 500 mg and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, magnesium trisilicate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate and titanium dioxide."

"IndicationAndUsage": "NON-STANDARDIZED ALLERGENIC EXTRACTS are indicated for: 1 Skin test diagnosis of individuals with a clinical history of allergy to the specific corresponding allergens.",
"Description": "Non-standardized allergenic extracts are labeled “No U.S. Standard of Potency”. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied in a Glycero Cocas extraction solution, which consists of 0.5% sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.275% sodium bicarbonate as a buffer, and 50% glycerin (volume/volume) as preservative. Non-standardized allergenic extracts are supplied as a weight to volume (w/v) solution of allergen in extraction solution. Product concentrations vary based on the source. Refer to the vial label for the product concentration. Source material mold mycelia and Candida albicans cells are cultivated on liquid medium which may contain one or more of the following constituents: casein hydrolysate; malt extract; yeast extract; maltose; dextrose; ammonium nitrate, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride, ammonium citrate, potassium phosphate, sodium citrate, citric acid; magnesium sulfate; or trace elements. Acetone and ether may be used as drying and de-fatting agents. Candida albicans cells are treated with phenol, which is removed by dialysis. Dog Hair and Dander extracts are manufactured in 3 product forms: 1 Dog Hair and Dander (Regular Process) is derived from extraction of the source material without additional processing, and is prepared at 1:10 w/v in Glycero-Cocas., 2 Acetone Precipitated (AP) Dog Hair and Dander is derived from the acetone precipitated aqueous extract and is prepared at 1:100 w/v in Glycero-Cocas., 3 Ultrafiltered (UF) Dog Hair and Dander is derived from the UF aqueous extract and is prepared at 1:650 w/v in Glycero‑Cocas."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Methylprednisolone Tablets are indicated in the following conditions. 1. Endocrine Disorders. Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (hydrocortisone or cortisone is the first choice; synthetic analogs may be used in conjunction with mineralocorticoids where applicable; in infancy mineralocorticoid supplementation is of particular importance). Congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Nonsuppurative thyroiditis. Hypercalcemia associated with cancer. 2. Rheumatic Disorders. As adjunctive therapy for short-term administration (to tide the patient over an acute episode or exacerbation) in. Rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (selected cases may require low-dose maintenance therapy). Ankylosing spondylitis. Acute and subacute bursitis. Synovitis of osteoarthritis. Acute nonspecific tenosynovitis. Post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Psoriatic arthritis. Epicondylitis. Acute gouty arthritis. 3. Collagen Diseases. During an exacerbation or as maintenance therapy in selected cases of. Systemic lupus erythematosus. Systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis). Acute rheumatic carditis. 4. Dermatologic Diseases. Bullous dermatitis herpetiformis. Severe erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Severe seborrheic dermatitis. Exfoliative dermatitis. Mycosis fungoides. Pemphigus. Severe psoriasis. 5. Allergic States. Control of severe or incapacitating allergic conditions intractable to adequate trials of conventional treatment. Seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis. Severe acute and chronic allergic and inflammatory processes involving the eye and its adnexa such as. Allergic corneal marginal ulcers. Herpes zoster ophthalmicus. Anterior segment inflammation. Diffuse posterior uveitis and choroiditis. Sympathetic ophthalmia. Keratitis. Optic neuritis. Allergic conjunctivitis. Chorioretinitis. Iritis and iridocyclitis. 7. Respiratory Diseases. Symptomatic sarcoidosis. Berylliosis. Loeffler's syndrome not manageable by other means. Fulminating or disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis when used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy. Aspiration pneumonitis. 8. Hematologic Disorders. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura in adults. Secondary thrombocytopenia in adults. Acquired (autoimmune) hemolytic anemia. Erythroblastopenia (RBC anemia). Congenital (erythroid) hypoplastic anemia. 9. Neoplastic Diseases. For palliative management of. Leukemias and lymphomas in adults. Acute leukemia of childhood. 10. Edematous States. Tuberculous meningitis with subarachnoid block or impending block when used concurrently with appropriate antituberculous chemotherapy. Trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement.",
"Description": "Methylprednisolone Tablets contain methylprednisolone which is a glucocorticoid. Glucocorticoids are adrenocortical steroids, both naturally occurring and synthetic, which are readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Methylprednisolone occurs as a white to practically white, odorless, crystalline powder. It is sparingly soluble in alcohol, in dioxane, and in methanol, slightly soluble in acetone, and in chloroform, and very slightly soluble in ether. It is practically insoluble in water. The chemical name for methylprednisolone is pregna-1, 4-diene-3, 20-dione, 11, 17, 21-trihydroxy-6-methyl-, (6α, 11β)-and the molecular weight is 374.48. The structural formula is represented below:. Each Methylprednisolone tablet for oral administration contains 4mg of methylprednisolone. Inactive ingredients: Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Lactose Monohydrate-Cellulose Microcrystalline, Magnesium Stearate, Croscarmellose Sodium. The USP dissolution test is pending."
