"IndicationAndUsage": "Valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablet USP is the combination tablet of valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), a diuretic. Valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablet USP is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure: : 1 In patients not adequately controlled with monotherapy (1) , 2 As initial therapy in patients likely to need multiple drugs to achieve their blood pressure goals (1) .",

Valsartan, a nonpeptide molecule, is chemically described as N-(1-oxopentyl)-N-[[2'-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]methyl]-L-Valine. Its empirical formula is C24H29N5O3, its molecular weight is 435.5, and its structural formula is. Valsartan is a white to practically white fine powder. It is soluble in ethanol and methanol and slightly soluble in water. Hydrochlorothiazide USP is a white, or practically white, practically odorless, crystalline powder. It is slightly soluble in water; freely soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, in n-butylamine, and in dimethylformamide; sparingly soluble in methanol; and insoluble in ether, in chloroform, and in dilute mineral acids. Hydrochlorothiazide is chemically described as 6-chloro-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,2,4-benzothiadiazine-7-sulfonamide 1,1-dioxide. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic. Its empirical formula is C7H8ClN3O4S2, its molecular weight is 297.73, and its structural formula is. Valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets USP are formulated for oral administration to contain valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide, 80 mg/12.5 mg, 160 mg/12.5 mg, 160 mg/25 mg, 320 mg/12.5 mg, and 320 mg/25 mg. The inactive ingredients of the tablets are colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide and additional colorants as below. 80 mg/12.5 mg: iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. 160 mg/12.5 mg: iron oxide red. 160 mg/25 mg: iron oxide black, iron oxide red and iron oxide yellow. 320 mg/12.5 mg: iron oxide black and iron oxide red. 320 mg/25 mg: iron oxide yellow."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Remodulin is a prostacyclin mimetic indicated for: 1 Treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; WHO Group 1) to diminish symptoms associated with exercise. Studies establishing effectiveness included patients with NYHA Functional Class II-IV symptoms and etiologies of idiopathic or heritable PAH (58%), PAH associated with congenital systemic-to-pulmonary shunts (23%), or PAH associated with connective tissue diseases (19%). (1.1), 2 Patients who require transition from epoprostenol, to reduce the rate of clinical deterioration. The risks and benefits of each drug should be carefully considered prior to transition. (1.2).",
"Description": "Remodulin (treprostinil) Injection is a sterile solution of treprostinil, a prostacyclin mimetic, formulated for subcutaneous or intravenous administration. Remodulin is supplied in 20-mL multidose vials in eight strengths, containing 2 mg (0.1 mg/mL), 4 mg (0.2 mg/mL), 8 mg (0.4 mg/mL), 20 mg (1 mg/mL), 50 mg (2.5 mg/mL), 100 mg (5 mg/mL), 200 mg (10 mg/mL), or 400 mg (20 mg/mL) of treprostinil. Each mL also contains 5.3 mg sodium chloride (except for the 10 mg/mL and 20 mg/mL strengths, which contain 4.0 mg sodium chloride), 3 mg metacresol, 6.3 mg sodium citrate dihydrate, and water for injection. Sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid may be added to adjust pH between 6.0 and 7.2. Treprostinil is chemically stable at room temperature and neutral pH. Treprostinil has a molecular weight of 390.52 and a molecular formula of C23H34O5. The structural formula of treprostinil is. Sterile Diluent for Remodulin is a high-pH (pH~10.4) glycine diluent supplied in a 50-mL vial containing 50 mL of Sterile Diluent for Remodulin. Each vial contains 94 mg glycine, 73.3 mg sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH), and water for injection."

"IndicationAndUsage": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution is indicated for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents, and children 6 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airway disease.",
"Description": "Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is a sterile, clear, colorless, preservative-free solution of the hydrochloride salt of levalbuterol, the (R)-enantiomer of the drug substance racemic albuterol. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is a relatively selective beta 2-adrenergic receptor agonist [see Clinical Pharmacology (12)]. The chemical name for levalbuterol hydrochloride is (R)-α 1-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl) amino]methyl]-4-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedimethanol hydrochloride, and its established chemical structure is as follows:. The molecular weight of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP is 275.78, and its molecular formula is C 13H 21NO 3HCl. It is a white or almost white, crystalline powder, with a melting point of approximately 188 to 195°C and freely soluble in water. Levalbuterol hydrochloride is the USAN modified name for (R)-albuterol hydrochloride in the United States. Levalbuterol inhalation solution, USP is supplied in unit-dose vials and requires no dilution before administration by nebulization. Each 3 mL unit-dose vial contains 0.31 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.36 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 0.63 mg of levalbuterol (as 0.73 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP) or 1.25 mg of levalbuterol (as 1.44 mg of levalbuterol hydrochloride USP), edetate disodium, sodium chloride to adjust tonicity and sulfuric acid to adjust the pH to 4.0 (3.3 to 4.5)."

The chemical name for abemaciclib is 2-Pyrimidinamine, N-[5-[(4-ethyl-1-piperazinyl)methyl]-2-pyridinyl]-5-fluoro-4-[4-fluoro-2-methyl-1-(1-methylethyl)-1H-benzimidazol-6-yl]-. Abemaciclib has the following structure:. VERZENIO (abemaciclib) tablets are provided as immediate-release oval white, beige, or yellow tablets. Inactive ingredients are as follows: Excipients—microcrystalline cellulose 102, microcrystalline cellulose 101, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, sodium stearyl fumarate, silicon dioxide. "Description": "Methylergonovine maleate is a semi-synthetic ergot alkaloid used for the prevention and control of postpartum hemorrhage. Methylergonovine maleate is available in tablets for oral ingestion containing 0.2 mg methylergonovine maleate. Active Ingredient: methylergonovine maleate USP, 0.2 mg. Inactive Ingredients: acacia, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, methylparaben, microcrystalline cellulose 101, microcrystalline cellulose 102, povidone K30, propylparaben, corn starch, stearic acid, and tartaric acid. Chemically, methylergonovine maleate is designated as ergoline-8-carboxamide, 9,10-didehydro-N-[1- (hydroxymethyl)propyl]-6-methyl-, [8β(S)]-, (Z)-2-butenedioate (1:1) (salt). Its structural formula is. C20H25N3O2·C4H4O4 M.W. 455.50. FDA approved dissolution test specifications differ from USP."
